Obituary for Beth Ann Oaks

.Beth Ann Oaks, age 64, passed away after a struggle with ALS, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 17, 2018. She was born on January 28, 1954 to Robert and Ruth (Greer) Webb. On June 21, 1975 she married Rick Oaks in Oshkosh. Beth worked as a secretary for an office manager at Wisconsin National Life Insurance. Beth moved with her husband and children to Park Falls, WI and lived there for twenty years before moving back to Oshkosh recently. While in Park Falls, Beth was employed at First National Bank of Park Falls. She loved the hunt of thrift shopping, antiquing, and interior decorating. She was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Oshkosh and Our Savior Lutheran Church in Park Falls.

Beth is survived by her husband, Rick; daughters: Erin (Donald) Lane of South St. Paul, MN and Laura (Bryan) Koenig of Crystal, MN; grandchildren: Leah and Levi Lane, and Wesley Koenig; parents, Robert and Ruth Webb of Oshkosh; sisters: Kathy Webb, Barb (Gary) Lucas and Cindy Webb; brothers: Pat (Kim) Webb, Mike (Karla) Webb, Ric (Donna) Webb and John (Michelle) Webb; mother-in-law, Juanita Oaks-Joslin; sister-in-law, Debbie Oaks; brothers-in-law, David (Cheri), George (Judy) and Gerald (Brenda) Oaks; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and very special friends. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, George Oaks Jr; brothers-in-law: Tom and Bob Oaks; and aunts: Jeanne DeBraal and Dorothy Webb.

A visitation will be at 10:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 338 N. Eagle St., Oshkosh, with Rev. John E. Seelman and Rev. David F. Pagel officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. A memorial in Beth’s name is being established.
