Obituary for Charles L. Liebert

Charles L. Liebert, age 83, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021. He was born in Green Bay on February 16, 1938, the son of the late Adoph and Marie (Stascak) Liebert. Charles worked for many years as a pin setter mechanic at T & O Bowling Lanes. His faith was very important and he treasured attending Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed flea markets with his brother Jack, hunting and fishing, and helping to maintain his family’s carnival at South Park. Being very good with his hands, Charles was known to make and paint elaborate models. Charles will be remembered for his gentle disposition and exceptional good nature. He was the perfect brother and uncle.

Charles is survived by his sister, Marilyn (Arthur) Heiss; brother, Timothy (Debra) Liebert; nieces and nephews: Michael (Ann) Liebert, Derek (Mia Kouzoukas) Liebert, Aaron Heiss, John (Carmin Ballou) Liebert, Brian (Angela Fraleigh) Heiss, Patrick (April) Liebert, Kegan (Heather) Heiss, Alaric Heiss and Georgine Taylor; and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Jack Liebert and Roland (Patricia) Liebert.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at GRACE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 913 Nebraska St., Oshkosh, with Rev. Josh Jensen officiating. Entombment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
