David L. Nigl, of Oshkosh, age 62, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. He was born in Oshkosh on April 16, 1955 the son of the late Alfred and Marion (Roberts) Nigl. On September 4, 1992 he married Lorie Larson in Oshkosh. David graduated from Lourdes Academy in 1973. He spent 24 years at Morgan products, 10 years at Valco and 10 years working in the warehouse at Miles Kimball, where he recently retired. David had a passion for music and had his recording project studio and an extensive collection of guitars. He was particularly proud of his Washburn. Other things he enjoyed include: nature, especially watching and feeding birds, and the game of chess. David will be remembered for being a very kind person who was dynamic. He will be missed by his close friends.
David is survived by his wife, Lorie; two brothers: Alfred Nigl of California and Charles Nigl of Oshkosh; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara.
A visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the funeral home.
