Eileen E. Schani, age 87 of Oshkosh passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. Eileen was born on February 21, 1930, the daughter of Adolph and Ida Lemberger. She married Joseph Schani in Oshkosh on June 18, 1949. Eileen worked for 29 years for American Excelsior and then 24 years as a crossing guard.
Eileen is survived by her son, Keith (fiancée Sherry) Schani of Oshkosh, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Arthur Pohl, and husband, Joseph.
Funeral services for Eileen will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Seefeld Funeral Chapel, 1025 Oregon St., at 12:00 Noon, with Rev. William Kuhr officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral chapel on May 20, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Interment will follow the services in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
