Ellen Jane Faust, age 90, of Oshkosh, died Friday morning, January 4, 2019, at Lakepoint Villa in Oshkosh. Born on January 15, 1928, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Russell and Margaret (Pommerening) Ruddy. Ellen married Richard Juedes, and after his death, she married George Faust, who also preceded her in death.
A long-time Teacher’s Aide in the Oshkosh Public School System, Ellen enjoyed embroidering, sewing, reading, card playing (especially Poker and King’s in the Corner). She particularly loved time spent at the family cottage. She had a penchant for trying her hand at winning at the slot machines at various casinos.
Ellen’s biggest enjoyment came with the time spent with her family. She had a fabulous sense of humor and was a great listener. She had a wonderful habit of interjecting a humorous song during a conversation. She was a life-long member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her children, Steven (Cheryl) Juedes, Michael (Bonny) Juedes, and Barbara (Duane) Molash, all of Oshkosh; son-in-law, Bruce Marson of Appleton; step-children, Pam (Paul) and Lynn; ten grandchildren, Christa (Eric) Fulwiler, Jason Skinner, James (Angie)Juedes, Jeremy (Kayla)Juedes, Nicholas (Becky)Juedes, Joshua J. I worked with Ellen at Emmeline Cook school. She was patient and kind. I was the kindergarten teacher at the time. I remember her telling me about when her son, on his first day of kindergarten (I think it was Michael) was excited, standing in line waiting to go in. The boy in front of him turned around and said, "I hate you" and turned back around. She said it took everything she had not to go up and punch the kid! We shared many stories about parenting. She was a wonderful influence on me and great to work with, never getting riled up, taking everything in stride. And she always had that smile on her face, the same smile that she has in the picture you posted. I am sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry to hear about Ellen. I got to visit with her everyday at Washington Elementary school when I was a little girl. She was the school secretary for many years and would pass the medications out to me before lunch. I always thought she was a sweet and funny lady and had great patience to put up with all of us! I will be thinking of her and send a prayer
