Obituary for Linda Lou Baerwald (Devlin)
Linda Lou Baerwald, 83, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2023 in Oshkosh, WI. She was born on November 30, 1939, in Wisconsin to Valinda (Splitgerber) and Merritt Devlin. She married Norman “Butch” Baerwald on November 5, 1960, in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
She was an avid reader, and also enjoyed sewing and cooking; always having a family dinner set for Wednesday nights. Linda also taught ceramics at the Oshkosh Senior Center for many years.
Family was the most important thing to her. She could often be found watching and teaching her grandchildren and great-grandchild fun and exciting new things.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Pamela Boettcher and Susan (Cary) Kopplin; grandchildren, Nicholas Boettcher, Emily Boettcher, Cody (Meghan) Kopplin, Austin (Courtney) Kopplin, and Dylan (Lexi) Kopplin; great-grandchildren; Ryker as well as Leo and Bennett on the way. She is further survived by her brother, Wayne Devlin; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Norman “Butch” Baerwald; parents, Valinda and Merritt; sister, Sandy Bartow; brother, Dennis Devlin; step-son, David Baerwald.
Private family services have been held.
