Obituary for Marlene Audrey "Molly" Spannbauer (Bartlett)

Marlene (Molly) A. Spannbauer , age 85 of Oshkosh WI passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at The Courtyard in Oshkosh.

Molly was born in Oshkosh, WI on January 14, 1936, the daughter of Otto and Rose (Haldemann) Bartlett.

She married Ronald (Ronnie) A Spannbauer on April 27, 1957 at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Oshkosh WI.

She had various jobs throughout the years, including The Diamond Match Co., A Nurses Aid at Mercy Hospital, SNC, King Industries, and her favorite in Food Service for the Oshkosh School District. She loved interacting with the kids, especially the younger ones.

Molly enjoyed growing up on the farm with her 9 brothers and sisters. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed "picking" hickory nuts (She had a nice little side business selling hickory nut meats.) She loved working in the yard, camping, roller skating, bowling, dart ball, rides in the country, bus trips to the casino and bingo.

Molly is survived by her three children, Roxane Wolff of Oshkosh WI, Tony Spannbauer of Marshall WI and Ann (Jeff) Koplitz of Oshkosh WI; four grandchildren, Ben (Lizzy) Wolff, Kristina Spannbauer, Nathan (Abby) Spannbauer and Jenna (Ben) Konruff: 5 great-grandchildren, Jude, Clive, Emmeline, Ira, Vance and 1 blessing on the way; sisters, Janice Bunke, Pat (Ronnie) Schwartz, Shirley (Lennie) Richter; brothers, Jerry (Myrna) Bartlett and Doug Bartlett; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Bartlett and Gloria Bartlett.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie; her parents Otto and Rose Bartlett; in-laws Anton (Tony) and Gertrude Spannbauer; sister-in-law Sue Ann; brothers Willis and Ervin; sisters Lois and Neva.

Molly's family would like to express a heartfelt "Thank You" for the amazing care she received at The Courtyard in Oshkosh and from St. Croix Hospice.

A visitation will be held from 10am - 12pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Seefeld's Funeral Home located at 1025 Oregon St., Oshkosh WI, with a memorial service immediately following.
