Obituary for Michael Anthony Britten

Michael Anthony Britten, age 32, of Milwaukee, WI originally of Oshkosh WI, was lifted up by his heavenly Father on December 29, 2020 following complications with surgery.
Michael was the son of Karen Britten and the late Louis Britten, who is in heaven waiting with love ready to receive his son. Michael attended Winneconne schools and went on to attend Fox Valley Technical Institute earning a degree in electrical engineering.
His friends have shared many stories and told his family what a good friend he was to them and that he could be counted on when asked. Michael was only 32, passing long before his time, he had many things he still wanted to do in life. He was a wonderful man, and friend. He grew from a sweet caring child to a loving and compassionate man. Michael worked at Milwaukee Electronics doing what he loved most working with very small electric boards and motors and received high praise from those who worked with him. He was commended on his strong tenacity, patient research, and all-around knowledge of the job and what was required of him.
Michael is survived by his mother, Karen Britten; aunts, Diane (Paul) Bertuleit, and Mary Romero; uncle, Duane (Leslie) Kramer; cousins, Dan Finstad, Fred Finstad, Meghan Hoffman, Nolan Hoffman, and Pam Dougherty; step-sister, Nicole (Jeremy) Merriet; step-brother, Jeff Britten; brother-in-law, Tim Hanson; nieces, Autumn Merriet, Meghan Isom, Lydia Hanson, Evelyn Hanson, and Mauretta Hanson; nephew, Corbin Britten; special friends, Jonathon Lee, and Peter Liethen; as well as many dear friends and other family.
Preceding him in death, his father, Louis Britten; his grandparents; half-sister, Jenny Hanson; uncle, Mike Finstad; cousins, Shaun Isom. Ted Finstad; and nephew, Christopher Britten.
A gathering in Michaels memory will be held on January 20, 2021 at Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon Street, Oshkosh, WI from 4pm to 6pm. Face coverings will be required, and we are asking that social distancing is observed.
A note to all parents, tell your children how much you love them and give them a hug in case you are unable to again. I am glad I did.
