Ralph J. Paulik, age 85, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. He was born in Oshkosh on February 21, 1936, the son of the late Edward and Hattie (Baczkowski) Paulik. Ralph was proud to serve in the U.S. Army as a tank mechanic in Germany. He was a forty plus year member of the South Side Ice Yacht Club, the Planetary Society, and was known to enjoy bowling and horse shoes. When Ralph left the Army he started working for Wertsch’s Auto in Oshkosh. He also worked as a parts man for Lee Truck, Bauer Truck, and Quality Truck Care Center where he retired from.
Ralph is survived by his brothers and sisters: Sr. Cecile Paulik, Bob (Janet) Paulik, Jerry (Pat) Paulik, Hugo (Janet) Paulik, Beatrice (Jim) Bougie, Richard (Pat) Paulik, and Betty (Richard) Morgan; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Elaine (Vince) Fisher; and brother, John (Karen) Paulik.
It was Ralph’s wish to be cremated. A memorial tree will be planted in his honor in South Park, Oshkosh.
