Obituary for Rebecca Lynn Newburg
Rebecca “Newbs” Newburg, 70, passed away in Oshkosh, WI on September 28, 2023. She was born in Illinois to Shirley (Swanson) and Raymond Newburg on April 3, 1953.
She loved to attend car shows and swap meets with her partner, Ron Watson. She also enjoyed photographing sunsets, exploring flea markets, and attending family gatherings. A favorite pastime of hers was to ride around on “Nugget”, her four-wheeler. Rebecca loved life and always found peace in simply watching nature. She will be remembered for her soft voice, infectious laugh, immaculate handwriting, and her spunky attitude.
Rebecca is survived by her partner, Ron Watson; children, Stacy (Ryan) Wieber, and Mitch Lannan; mother, Shirley Newburg; Ron’s daughter, Erika (Scott) Becker; bonus grandchildren, Brekken and Andrek; brothers, Dan Newburg, Randy Newburg, Larry Newburg; she is further survived by her friends and other family.
Preceding her in death, her father, Raymond Newburg; and Ron’s mother, Jean Watson.
A private celebration of life has taken place.
