Ruthann VanderSande, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She was born in Manitowoc on March 26, 1941, the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Ploor) Barbeau. On May 14, 1966 she married Harold VanderSande in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2011. Ruthann retired from being a corporate switchboard operator with Curwood after many wonderful years. She enjoyed volunteering at the Oshkosh Food Pantry and belonged to the Women’s Group at St. Peters in Oshkosh. Ruthann will be remembered for the love she had for Harold and her family, and her special dog, T.J.

Ruthann is survived by her children: Deborah (Ron) Lamontagne, Steve (Bernadette) VanderSande, Wendy Cagnolatti, Jayne (Ron) Shefchik, Scott (Lori) VanderSande, Shelly (Bill) Klotzbeucher, Sheryl Roman, Mark (Katy) VanderSande and Michael (Maria) VanderSande; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Lynn Barbeau; brother, Ron (Jackie) Barbeau; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, ST. PETERS SITE, 435 High Ave., Oshkosh. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
