Obituary for Theodore Louis Heidl

Theodore L. Heidl, 78, passed away in Oshkosh, WI on November 7, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was born to Mary (Kellerman) and Albert Heidl on January 29, 1944.

On July 27, 1968, Theodore married Linda Gray and together they shared 54 years of marriage.
Theodore loved to go camping, going to the casinos where he got his nickname of “Jammer” due to his ability to jam the machines, and he loved Elvis; especially his song “I did it My Way.”

Theodore is survived by his wife, Linda Heidl; children, Thomas (Debra) Heidl, Laurie (Robert) Nault, Brian (Tara Meneguzzo) Heidl, and Christopher (Jessica) Heidl; grandchildren, Austin Heidl, Justin, Kayla, Breanna, Travis, and Abigail Mason, Hailey, Christopher Jr., Lily, Alijah, Samuel, and Carter Heidl; great-grandchildren, Alana Mason and Hunter coming in December; sister, Jane Heidl; and special friends, Kenneth and Ty Ebert.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Mary and Albert; and his brother, William Heidl.

A celebration of life will be held at Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon Street, Oshkosh on Tuesday, November 22, with visitation being held from 4pm until 6pm, and then service beginning at 6pm.

A special thank you to Hospice, the workers and friends at Captain’s Cove in Gresham that helped make Theodore comfortable.
