Obituary for Thomas Alan DeVoe

Thomas “Tom” Alan DeVoe passed away January 11, 2021. He was born January 20, 1965 to Gerald and Susan (Steinhilber) DeVoe in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

On September 3, 1988 Tom married the love of his life, Cyndi Beck and together they shared 32 years of marriage. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Tom and Cyndi were blessed with their son Josh. Tom and Josh shared a love of music and sports which included play by play texting of Packer games when they lived states apart. Tom loved rock concerts and attended multiple concerts in the US and Europe. In recent years Tom found a passion for craft beer. He loved to go on “beercations” with his buddies and vacations in coastal areas with his wife and family. Tom was a hard worker, he spent 26 years working at Oshkosh Correctional where he gained the trust and respect of his co-workers. He always had a great sense of humor, was always the life of the party and he made friends easily with anyone he met. Most of all Tom loved his family and friends.
