Obituary for Arlene D. Horwath

Arlene D. Horwath, 84, of Neenah, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at Bridgewood Nursing and Rehab. Arlene was born in Marathon, Wisconsin, on December 19, 1930, to Peter and Anna (Heindl) Kiefer. She worked as a nurse’s aid, then did store demos in multiple stores in the area.
Arlene is survived by her children, Linda Manney-Pena, Ron Manney, Verna Manney, Paul Manney, Jan (Paul) Kiefer and Betsy Omness; her grandchildren, Tomika, Cory, Ron Jr., Jillene, Marsha, Shawn, Josie, Sarah, JoAnn, Kim “Pete” and Heidi; 25 great grandchildren and one great great grandson; sisters, Patricia Schroeder and Barbara (Jay) Lett; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna & Peter Kiefer; siblings, Peter Jr., Robert and Louis Kiefer, Eleanor Sontag, Mildred Rennert, Beverly Eiden and Jaunita Luethge; and great grandson, James McMahon Jr.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m., at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh. A memorial is being established.
