Obituary for Nadine Carla Hobart (Wolverton)

Nadine Carla  Hobart (Wolverton)
Nadine C. Hobart, nee Wolverton, age 73, of Oshkosh, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 17, 2017. She was born in Oshkosh on December 6, 1943, the daughter of the late Melville and Selma Wolverton. On February 20, 1960 she married LeRoy Hobart, her husband of 52 years. Nadine enjoyed her rock garden that was made from rocks that her and her family collected over the years. She enjoyed raising and caring for her four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Nadine will be remembered for her love of BINGO and going to play every Friday with her life-long friend, Karen.

Nadine is survived by her children: Jeffrey Hobart, Stephen (Jori) Hobart, Cindy (James) Mathe, and Shirley (Daniel) Peppler; grandchildren: Amanda Neisen, Ivy, Alexander, John, Bryana Hobart, Kevin and Bryan Peppler; step-grandchildren: Kristina and Jill; great-grandchildren: Izabella and Kennedy; brothers-in-law: Walter (Mary Jane) Hobart and William Hobart; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy in 2013; and a brother, Roger Wolverton.

Family and friends will gather from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Lakeview Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh with inurnment to follow. In lieu of flower, a memorial fund in Nadine’s name is being established.
