Obituary for Donna Kay Martin (King)

Donna Kay  Martin (King)
Donna K. Martin, age 80, of Neenah, left the burdens of this world on Saturday, September 1, 2018, for eternal rest in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on April 23, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Audrey King, Donna married Harold Martin on January 26, 1959, in Centerville, Iowa. Donna was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother who was loved by all and will be missed dearly by many.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Stacy) Martin; her grandchildren, Tanner, Grace, and Joshua; her sister, Carla Weist; her sister-in-law, Gloria King; and many nieces and nephews who treasured her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Harold; her sister, Phyllis Rivera; her brother, Wayne King; and her two brothers-in-law, Edward Rivera and Robert Weist.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018, at 12 Noon, in Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend Donald Krause officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett, Wisconsin. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at the funeral chapel.
A special thank you to Atrium Rehab of Neenah, especially Donna, and the staff and residents of Emerald Ridge Assisted Living in Neenah for the outstanding care and friendship during Mom’s journey home.
