Condolences

Condolence From: LuAnn Bird
Condolence: Dorothy was very influential in my life through the League of Women Voters. Shortly after I joined the League, Dorothy said to me, "We will find a place for you." Within a year I was on the school board. For years she organized speakers for our League lunch. I learned many, many things but more importantly, she taught me about the county board and the need for human services. She was my role model, teaching me how to advocate for handicap access after my husband's paralyzing accident. I will surely miss Dorothy.

Condolence: Dorothy was an active member of the ADVOCAP Board of Directors for over 20 years, and served as it's president for several years. She was a tremendous asset to the low income people of the community, and will be missed. On behalf of the ADVOCAP Board and Staff, I offer my condolances to Dorothy's family.
