Francis was one of my favorite greeters at Walmart. He always had a kind word and friendly smile. Once he gave me a Hershey's Kiss when I entered the store. He told me when I got home I should tell my husband "I got a kiss from a nice man at Walmart" - which I did - and my husband I have laughed about that many times over the years. I know many people will miss him and his gentle ways.
P.S. TO Carol Lee - I didn't know this was your Dad until I read it in the paper this morning. I was in the class of 1965 at Lourdes. Sheila Ruhl. I played drums in the band, and remember your well. You have my deepest sympathy.
