Condolence From: Paula Steinert
Condolence: As current director of the Oshkosh Seniors' Center Chorus, now known as "The Golden Tones," I had the pleasure of having Jesse in the choir that he loved to be a part of, until his health stopped him from participating. I would still call him from time to time to chat and talk about what was happening with the choir. He was a special guy and he made me feel welcome in my early days with the chorus. All of the singers and I had sent him a card not too long ago just to let him know he was still in our thoughts and he sent a wonderful thank you note that I cherish. Condolence: Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
