Obituary for Lillian Louise Diskowski (Ritschke)
Lillian L. Diskowski, age 101, passed away on July 18, 2016, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. Lillian was born on January 10, 1915, to Henry and Louise (Meihak) Ritschke. She attended school in Oshkosh, and belonged to Peace Lutheran Church. On June 12, 1936, she married Alfred Diskowski, who preceded her in death on June 10, 1979, shortly after they moved in to Simmeana 3.
Lillian is survived by her son, Robert (Barbara) Diskowski of Walnut Creek, California; three grandchildren: Craig (Chrysteen) Diskowski of Gilroy, California, Mark (Dawn) Diskowski of Berkeley, California, and Renee (Michael Spitler) Diskowski of Walnut Creek, California; one great-grandson, Camden; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Bethel Home. A time of visiting for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethel Home would be appreciated. Lillian’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you in appreciation to all of her friends including Leo and Izzy, the nurses and entire staff at Bethel Home and Heartland Hospice.
