Obituary for Lucille G. Weeks
Lucille G. Weeks, age 100, of Oshkosh, died peacefully early Sunday morning, October 30, 2016, at Arborview Manor in Oshkosh. She was born April 8, 1916, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Harry and Alma (Wilke) Weeks. Lucille was a graduate of Oshkosh High School and worked at and retired from the family business, Weeks Grocery after 30 years of service. She enjoyed family and friends and took part in bowling leagues and playing golf at Far Vu Golf Course in Oshkosh for many years.
Lucille is loved and will be missed by her family which includes her niece, Donna (Michael) LaPoint of Oshkosh; nephew, David Weeks of Oshkosh; great nephews, Doug (Racheal) LaPoint and Craig (Meghan) LaPoint.
Visitation in memory of Lucille will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Mary Balson officiating. Lucille will be laid to rest on the family plot at Riverside Cemetery.
