Shelly Lynn Grunske, age 39, of Oshkosh, went to meet her Savior on November 1, 2003. She was born on June 11, 1964 in Oshkosh to Steven and Nancy Berger. She was a life-long Oshkosh resident. Shelly married Michael D. Grunske on October 17, 1992 at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a devoted wife and mother to Michael and their two sons: Jacob and Adam.
Shelly was employed by Winnebago County in the Clerk of Courts Office. Shelly was a life-long member of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church and secretary of her T.O.P.S. She enjoyed playing cards with her group of women that she worked with. Shelly loved to bowl but recent knee replacements kept her from doing as much as she would have liked. Her special joy was camping with her family and visiting with all the people that they met.

Shelly is also survived by uncles: Roy (Karen) Hinn; Richard (Robin) Hinn; Gary (Jane) Hinn, Frank (Deb) Berger, Bruce (Patricia) Berger, and James (Kris) Berger, and many loving cousins. Shelly was a godmother to Angie Berger, Gabrielle Berger, and Bridget Berger.
Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents: Roy and Letha Hinn; Frank and Dorothy Berger; one aunt: Shirley La More; and an uncle: Jack Berger.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1526 Algoma Blvd, with Reverend Jeffrey Berg officiating.
